We work with a variety of stakeholders and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes to build safer families and communities, such as local authorities and PCCs.
Our Domestic Abuse Services include perpetrator group programmes, family services, preventative work as well as support for women and victims. We recognise that statistically, most domestic violence and abuse is perpetrated by men against women, therefore our services are predominantly geared towards this market. However we do also offer female perpetrator programmes and LGBT+ specific domestic violence programmes. For more information about our wider services please contact us.
Support for victims
Contact will be made with the current or ex-partners of the participant affected by the abuse. A service will be offered that provides safety planning information and support whilst the participants are attending the programme.
RISE Domestic Abuse Safety Advisors (DASA’s) are trained specialists who offer support to individuals who have experienced domestic abuse. Every time RISE facilitators work with a service user on a programme addressing domestic abuse, they will ensure that support is offered to the partner.
